Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds – 9 Preop beds, 5 Phase 2 recovery beds - Number of Staff – 8 full time RN’s (2 of those are open positions), 2 part time RN’s, 4 PRN RN’s and 1 unit HUC - Patient Ratios – 1:3 - Type of equipment – Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machine, Doppler, patient scale, bladder scanner - EMR -Meditech - Typical Procedures: - Phase 2 recoveries of Urology, GYN and other SDS patients - Preop Surgery, Endo, cath lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKG’s, blocks, blood transfusions Must Haves:/n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred/n- A recent 12 months of Pre Op RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting/n- KS RN License/n- BLS and ACLS Certifications/n/nPreferred or Nice to Have:/n- MediTech Experience/n- Travel Experience
