Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial services, is seeking experienced Class A CDL Equipment Operators who are dedicated to safety and environmental sustainability. This role is crucial in supporting our goals of providing top-tier environmental services across North America, including hazardous waste disposal and emergency spill responses. Candidates will operate specialized vehicles and equipment in compliance with company policies and safety standards. This position requires strong operational skills, adherence to regulatory requirements, and a commitment to excellence. Safely operate heavy equipment and transportation vehicles, including hazardous waste transport. Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Assist in the collection, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste according to company and regulatory guidelines. Respond to emergency spills and environmental incidents efficiently. Maintain accurate logs and records of operations in compliance with DOT standards. Participate in safety meetings and undergo training to ensure all operations meet safety regulations. Proficiency in operating Class A CDL vehicles. Ability to manage hazardous materials safely. Strong organizational and logistical skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Capability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
